Route covers substantial part of North Raigad and hence the name 'Crown of Raigad'. It has easy and scenic start till karjat. 2-3 km climb towards matheran till jumma patti is challenging but very beautiful. Route then takes you from khapoli to bhor ghat which again is scenic and challenging. From panvel route moves towards karnala bird sanctuary and covers some more green Zone ahead before moving back to start point. Route has decent elevation but scenic beauty and fresh air will not let you think about climbs.
