Welcome to the picturesque hinterland between the Western Ghats and the Arabian sea. The route commences from Pune and cuts across via Khandala ghat to Konkan stretch till Iit reaches the Beach at Alibaug. Some Nariyal Paani at the Alibag beach as you catch your breath in the sea breeze and back you go! As the name suggests... You reach the coast, and then you climb! The way back requires you to climb up the Sahyadris, to Khandala, before rolling back to Pune.
