Stay right at the fork in the road at Trident mall and proceed towards Fatehgunj via Genda circle and Shastri bridge. After descending Shastri bridge, stay left of the new bridge under construction and take a left turn onto New Chhani road / Nizampura Main Road. Continue straight until you reach the highway leading to Ahmedabad via NH-8 / SH-188 / NH-228. Keep riding this main highway which will connect you to Ahmedabad's Sardar Patel Ring Road. First Control Point (CP) is at Saubhagya Hotel just a few hundred feet on the left of the Aslali check post circle on Sardar Patel Ring Road. You will get refreshments at this hotel at CP. Ride marshal will also be available at CP to stamp your brevet card before you head back to wards Gandhinagar along SP Ring Road. The turn-around point (TP) is the IDBI Bank ATM at the Infocity Char Rasta, Gandhinagar. The TP is a lively location with plenty of options for eating and taking a short rest break before you head back to Baroda. The finish point will be unmanned at the SBI ATM, Malhar Point, Old Padra Road where you must swipe your debit card to mark your arrival time at finish point. Start & finish locations are the same. This route is fairly flat with no major climbs except the bridges & flyovers on the highway. As this is a national highway, the road conditions are expected to be good & clean with plenty of establishments along the highway for hydration / rest breaks and purchase refreshments. There will be no tree cover on the national highway.
